Recognize this building?

It’s the beautiful rotunda of the Thomas Jefferson Building at the Library of Congress.  We won’t be building a replica of this any time soon, but this coming Saturday we will explore architecture and design with “Community Spaces & Places: Designing for All of Us.”  Since the plan is for new addition of the Marshall-Lyon County Library to break ground this spring, we thought it would be a great time to have families think about the kinds of places and spaces they would like to see built and designed in their communities. We will have materials handy for people to create a plan or model of a public space or building.  Creativity and imaginations welcomed!
