According to Pat Thomas, Director at Adult Basic Education in Marshall, there is a high demand for CNA employees in our region. In response to this need the Workforce Center, Adult Education program, and MN West have received grants to provide free classes to interested individuals.

CNA Training will open up exciting job opportunities in:
- Nursing Homes
- Home Health Care
Training will also open up the possibility for further advancement to LPN degrees once you’ve established employment. Classes are free to those committed to enhancing employment.
Eligibility for classes is initially determined by literacy level, with required assessments. Adult education will provide pre-CNA training support to help learners prepare for the training. You must be a resident of Minnesota for a minimum of 30 days.
