Tech Literacy and Learning Expands

We are excited to be working with Barb Hawes, who is advising both Literacy Volunteers and the Marshall-Lyon County Library on increasing tech literacy and tech learning opportunities for people in our community. She is putting together a range of programs, including Technology Shorts, classes, and Technology Conversations to be held at the library (and possibly at other sites one day) that will be open to people at all levels of computer and digital literacy skills and interests.  The next Technology Shorts on February 9 & 13, 2015 will be “Getting Started with eReaders and eBooks.”  All Technology Shorts will be from noon to 12:30 p.m.  on Mondays and Fridays at the computer lab at the library, 201 C Street, Marshall, MN.  The topic is introduced on Monday and explored a bit further on Friday.  You do not have to attend Monday in order to attend on Friday.
